Why Enroll at Farmers Branch

• All of our teachers in CFBISD are certified in the core subject areas. 
• Kindergarten- 3rd grade teachers participated in Reading Academies and are trained in the Science of Teaching Reading. 
• Our teachers are GT certified which means they have completed 30 hours of specialized training, with annual 6-hour updates, specifically to serve the needs of academically advanced students. 
• Teachers also receive specialized training in curriculum, reading strategies, differentiation, socio-emotional learning and much more.

• Safety Patrol: Greeting and monitoring traffic and the hallways

There are two ways to get in:

1. If you are a new student and live in the attendance zone, you can move forward by completing online registration and follow the steps for online enrollment.
   
   Students may enroll for the current school year or can begin online registration for the new school year on April 1. 
    
2. If you do not live in the attendance zone, you can apply now.

• A Rating: FBE was given an A rating by the Texas Education Agency. This is the highest level that a school can receive. All staff at FBE work diligently to maintain this level of achievement.
• 9 Week Awards: Student acknowledgment of academic achievement, growth, and citizenship
• Teacher of the 9 Weeks: Teachers recognized by their peers for exceptional work in the classroom
• Students of the 9 Weeks: Students recognized by their teachers for exceptional work in the classroom
• Celebration Station: Students recognized by FBE Staff, with a positive office referral, for upholding the character values of FBE
